This is the reason I always take my camera to work (and just about everywhere else). One morning a couple of weeks ago this Brown Hare was sat on the dewy grass in the middle of the Broadwoodwidger village green. I know there are one or two around as we sometimes get a glimpse of one in the late evenings around the village

and I,d hoped to get one on camera one day. I was on my way to work but could'nt let this opportunity pass me by, so I took a few shots from the car, he took no notice, so I got out ,tiptoed behind a well placed tree and took a few more, still he took no notice, eventually he stood up and lolloped (is that a word) down the road. I thought that was that and drove on ,only to see him again in someones drive chomping away at the dandelions and then go onto thier lawn and happily munch the vegitation there,(this is going on a bit is'nt it). I drove up beside him and got some nice close ups,he still was'nt bothered by me in the least..I was then able to carry onto work a very happy bunny.
