Bank Vole eating garden flowers.

Whilst sitting around our small garden pond with friends, we noticed a movement among the Lobelia, which turned out to be this little Vole which was coming and going and snacking on the purple flowers.To good an opportunity to miss I set up my camera on a bean bag resting on a rock at low level and lay still and quiet and waited for his return, Only a couple of times did he stand up like this.Its great what nature can turn op on your doorstep.
