A new house and garden so a first attempt to attract some of the commoner birds . Put up nice perch, make sure the background is'nt too distracting, put out some food... and wait.

Lots of this stuff around in the last couple of weeks, especially in the wet areas around resevoirs, this was taken at Roadford in Devon .I thought it quite photogenic on the moss & lichen covered branch.My Fungi i.d. is'nt great but I'm pretty sure it is Yellow Brain Fungi also called Witches Butter.
