Buff Tip Caterpillars

Whilst out looking for Purple Hairstreak Butterflies in the usual row of Oak trees at Roadford Lake, Devon ( I failed to find any) I came across these splendid cluster of Buff Tip Moth caterpillars, and just within reach to be able to get a couple of photos.

Marsh Harrier

August 2021. This lovely juvenile Marsh Harrier was photographed at Walmsley santuary in Cornwall back in August ( apparently still around) , a species I,ve seen many times but never really managed to get a decent photo, this bird came very close flying directly over the hide giving fantastic views. I watched it hunting and catching the occasional prey item ( probably frogs ?). Lovely to see and will try to get back sometime soon to try and improve on the photos.
