Marbled White.

" Like a Cabbage White with Tattoos" was a comment I had from my neice when I posted some Marbled White photos on social media, and thats about as good a description that I've heard on the appearance of these lovely Marbled White Butterflies.I spent a few evenings and early mornings finding and photographing them at Roadford Lake in Devon where they appear to have had a good year, ( partly due to the wild flower meadow area that S.W. Water had created last year, just a shame they always cut other great areas for Butterflies and many other insects before they have had a chance to finish their brreeding cycle)
