Goldeneye

Roadford Lake Devon. Two late afternoons trying to photograph the local Goldeneyes displaying in the lovely late light, trying to get close to them is hard enough ( they don't come close to the hide very often), so I donned my best camo and slowly settled down at the waters edge although they were still a bit distant for my liking, these photos were a 500mm lens and 1.4 converter. The birds performed well displaying and mating, great
