Extremadura, Spain. Part 1, Birds of Prey and Vultures

A week in April with friends to Extremadura in Spain, lots of birds and other wildlife seen with a few lifers as well, a great week , weather was kind and some lovely scenery. Birds of prey and Vultures are in abundance here with Black KItes and Griffon Vultures seen daily, these along with Cinerous ( Black ) Vultures and Red Kite were photograped from a hide as well as just out and about. The Lesser Kestrels were in Caceres and I think a new bird for me as were the Spanish Imperial Eagle and the Short Toed Eagle which were seen while travelling around.Egyptian Vulture and Griffons were nesting on rock faces at Monfrague National Park
